When the pace slowed down finishing the kitchen, a friend helped me enlarge the opening of the tiny access door to the basement so I could install a proper door. December 2009.

23 December 2009. There are some problems with the flooring which is preventing me from installing the last few pieces of trim. Lookin good!

28 Nov 09. The knobs are on order from Italy and I still need to install the cabinet over the fridge, but the C.O. has been approved and meals are being cooked.

22 Oct 09. The panel in the foreground will conceal the right side of the dishwasher cabinet, which is in the background to the right of the corner sink. The fridge is to the left of the cooktop, just out of view. The ovens will be in the tower at the back right. An island with a sink and a chopping block top will replace the sawhorses, and the floor will be cork.
